Group Captain Bader, legendary pilot of the Royal Air Force.  During WW2, Bader flew with two artificial legs after losing them in a flying accident in 1931.  He was an Ace with 26 confirmed combat victories, several probables and  enemy aircraft damaged or destroyed on the ground.
