On June 6, 1944, 177 French soldiers landed with the first wave of assault on Sword Beach, in Colleville sur mer. Their objective is to retake the Casino d'Ouistreham, transformed into a real fortress by the Germans, and to join the troops of the 6th Airborne Division at Bénouville. Led by Philippe Kieffer, these men will be the only French soldiers to land in France on D-Day.
